About the job
The organisation Meliso is developing a new service with mobile peripartum crisis support for families experiencing an emotional crisis during pregnancy, around the time of birth, or in the early period with their child.
Our goal is to enable affected families to receive early, needs-oriented, low-threshold, and continuous support in their familiar living environment. We combine psychiatric nursing, midwifery, and psychotherapy into an interdisciplinary care offering that considers both the mental health of the parents and the parent-child relationship as well as the entire family system.
For the development and implementation of our pilot project, we are seeking from January 2027 or by arrangement a
Federally Recognised Psychotherapeutic Specialist (60-80%)
on a self-employed basis within the framework of a contractually regulated cooperation with Meliso
Your tasks
- You will provide psychotherapeutic support to parents experiencing psychological and emotional crises during pregnancy, after birth, or in the first year of their child’s life (focus: trauma sensitivity, attachment, family).
- You will offer psychotherapy both outreach in the families’ home environment and in your own practice rooms at our location in Kleinwabern.
- You will be part of our interdisciplinary team consisting of midwives and psychiatric nursing professionals and participate in joint case management, case discussions, and the development of individual support offers.
- You will actively contribute to the professional and conceptual development of the pilot project and help shape the establishment of a new, integrated care service.
Your profile
- You hold a federally recognised advanced training qualification in psychotherapy and a licence for independent professional practice.
- You have experience in psychotherapeutic support of people in peripartum psychological crises and possess in-depth knowledge in the area of parent-child relationships. Experience in leading group offerings is an advantage.
- You value interdisciplinary collaboration and are willing to contribute your professional perspective to a joint support process.
- You enjoy helping to shape new approaches in psychosocial and psychiatric care and developing them further together with other professionals.
What to expect
- An independent activity with binding integration into an interdisciplinary team.
- You will continue to carry out your psychotherapeutic work independently and enter into a contractually regulated cooperation with Meliso. The specific arrangement of the collaboration, especially regarding tasks, time commitment, remuneration, and organisational integration, will be agreed upon jointly.
- We offer you the opportunity to contribute psychotherapeutic expertise to a newly emerging interdisciplinary care service, develop your own ideas, and help shape the future of peripartum crisis support.
