The Wetzikon School
is one of the largest elementary schools in the Zurich Oberland and is easily accessible by public transport. Every day, more than 500 motivated teachers and specialists in ten schools dedicate themselves to the education of children and young people to prepare them for the future. To improve even further, we will continue to expand our inclusive orientation in the coming years and provide teachers with time within their professional duties for this purpose. Due to a termination during the probation period, we are looking for a / an at the Robenhausen Schoolhouse from October 20, 2025
Employment level: 50% with 13 weekly lessons of teaching
Working days: Monday and Wednesday mornings as well as Tuesday full day
As a committed specialist in school special education, it is important to you to build a good relationship with the students and promote them in a competence-oriented manner. Strengthening independence is central to you. You possess natural authority and lead the students lovingly, clearly, and consistently. You have a quick grasp and can react flexibly to teaching situations. Is your diploma as a specialist in school special education recognized in the canton of Zurich, or are you willing to obtain it? Your new school
The Robenhausen school unit runs 18 classes with around 370 children and is led by a motivated school management team. In addition to the 12 grade classes, there are four spacious kindergartens on the school premises. Our playground is surrounded by the various school buildings and is also actively used by the neighborhood population during leisure time. The Stegen kindergarten (with a spacious play area) and the Robank external watch (grades 1-3) complement our school unit. "I take care of myself. I take care of you. I take care of the environment. We are on the way together and tackle challenges together." This guiding principle is central to us. Whether teacher, specialist, daycare manager, janitor, school social work, or school management; we enjoy working in Robenhausen and support each other. We are role models for students because learning is only possible in a tension-free atmosphere.
