To complete its team, the Medical Directorate is looking for the Palliative Care Center of the HFR Fribourg – Cantonal Hospital a

Head of Clinic or Deputy Head of Clinic

7-month permanent contract 50%

Your mission:

• ensure quality care for patients according to current professional standards
• supervise the activity and training of assistant doctors and medical candidates
• provide teaching for pre- and post-graduate as well as for continuing medical education
• participate in the development of service projects and scientific projects
• participate in the on-call service

Your profile:

• federal medical diploma or equivalent
• you hold an FMH title in general internal medicine, or are in the process of obtaining it, or have equivalent training
• advanced training in palliative medicine is an asset
• several years of experience as an assistant doctor in hospital internal medicine and at least one year in a palliative care service
• proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language
• you are motivated to contribute to a good working atmosphere and appreciate collegial exchange
