About 650 employees in the Zurich notaries are committed to the concerns of customers and place great value on quality, discretion, and customer orientation. All 44 notaries in the canton are also land registry and insolvency offices and are organizationally part of Zurich's judicial administration. The trend of increasing insolvency numbers in recent years continues in 2026 and will persist.
For the start of work in April 2026, we have already found 12 committed and motivated individuals to strengthen our staff. They initially undergo a structured training program and then work in a notary, land registry, and insolvency office in the canton of Zurich. We still have one position open for deployment in the notary, land registry, and insolvency office in Wald ZH and gladly accept applications.

Your area of responsibility
- Independent handling of assigned insolvency cases – from file management to decisions. Research and clarification work according to clear procedures and checklists.
- On-site assignments in the canton of Zurich to secure assets and conduct hearings.
- Preparation of inventories and preparation of applications to courts.
- Communication and support of various stakeholders, minute-taking as well as deadline monitoring – supported by modern infrastructure and software (eXpert).
What you bring
- Commercial or business administration education/training (e.g., EFZ, commercial school, business diploma)
- Knowledge of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law (SchKG) or experience in debt collection, finance/accounting is a plus – career changers welcome!
- You like making decisions and keep a cool head even in delicate conversations.
- Ideally, you are over 25 years old, with corresponding professional and life experience.
- Very good German skills, confident in spoken and written language.
- Impeccable reputation, no entries in debt enforcement or criminal records.
