About the job
Working under a dedicated supervisor, the Associate will gain valuable insight into the working practices of a global humanitarian organisation and build professional contacts. The Associate will be placed in one of the four roles described below, based on their profile and preferences.
Public Sector Associate The Associate supports the implementation of fundraising and partnership strategies with governments and multilateral & bilateral institutions. They contribute to the preparation of fundraising initiatives, donor engagement activities and performance reporting, and helps ensure effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen donor relationships.
Private Fundraising Associate The Associate discovers and supports the different units within the Private Sector Fundraising pillar, from individual donors and digital fundraising to the cultivation of high-value donors and legacy giving. They contribute to content creation, supports the development of new donor relationships and existing partnerships, and manages the follow-up of specific projects.
Fundraising Services Associate The Associate supports the production of fundraising materials and donor engagement compliance functions within the Fundraising Services pillar, including contract review, contributions management, donor assurance exercises and private-sector due diligence. They gain exposure to the full cycle of fundraising asset production and compliance oversight.
Support Associate The Associate works within the REM Support Unit across one or more of its four teams: Division Administration, Coordination Data & Performance, Business Process Management, and Digital Product Management. Their duties may range from administration and coordination tasks to data management, process improvement and digital product support. The Associate is also part of a pool of associates and will occasionally have the opportunity to contribute to activities across other REM units.
