The Criminal Service is responsible for basic criminal police services and the corresponding investigations in the city of St. Gallen.

Employee SO Criminal Service with Search Tasks (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: St. Gallen
What to expect
- Deployment in case of events and initiation of immediate measures
- Processing of all criminal offenses and receipt of reports, mainly in the area of the Criminal Code, in the city of St. Gallen
- Search and investigation tasks, especially in the areas of crimes against life and limb, robbery and property offenses, cybercrimes, and drug offenses
- Cooperation with other police departments and authorities to clarify crimes
- Analysis of data and information to identify suspects and recognize connections
- Creation of search and investigation files as well as reports
- Working in shifts in a new work model with partial on-call duty at home
What distinguishes you
- Federal specialist certificate as a police officer
- Proven police knowledge in basic services and/or experience in criminal police work
- Knowledge in the use of police information systems and databases
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Initiative, reliability, and sense of responsibility; willingness to participate in further training and courses
