The StartWeek is part of the Vice-Rectorate for Studies & Teaching. The nine-member team consists of permanent employees and students of the HSG. In this constellation, the team works together over several years, thus ensuring experience and knowledge for the major project as well as for the StartWeek course.
The 20-30% working time is to be understood as annual working time. There are intensive working months (August-September) and less intensive phases (May-July).

Your tasks
- Content and organizational coordination of the social media channels
- Planning, production, and editing of content for social media (with Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Video production: planning, recording, editing (with Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Recruitment, leadership, training, and supervision of the approximately 15-member media team, together with experienced media experts
- Planning, organization, and execution of the StartWeek closing event with around 2,000 participants
- Taking over the stage management at the closing event
Your profile
- Confident handling of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and understanding of current trends
- Experience in content creation and editing (e.g., with Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Creative sense for storytelling and visual design
- Experience in planning and implementing events
- Exceptionally high teamwork skills and resilience
- Very good Microsoft Office skills
- Very good written and spoken expression in German
- Student at the University of St.Gallen (at least in the 3rd semester of the Bachelor's program)
