With the Center for Pain and Stress Medicine in Bern, we operate a specialized outpatient competence center for the integrative treatment of chronic pain and stress-related disorders – an offering with a consistently biopsychosocial approach that is unique in the region.
Your tasks
- You take on a central medical role in an established yet dynamic competence center.
- You treat complex pain and stress-related disorders as well as psychosomatic conditions based on an evidence-based, biopsychosocial approach.
- You contribute your clinical experience, actively shape the further development of our treatment concept, and influence the center's profile with your own professional focus areas.
- You participate in optimizing processes, therapy offerings, and interdisciplinary collaboration, thus setting new impulses for the care of our patients.
- You work closely networked with our rehabilitation facility, clinical partners, and external referrers – for high-quality care.
Our expectations
- Completed specialist medical title (e.g., Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, General Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, Anesthesiology, or comparable)
- Specialist title SAPPM or interest in acquiring the title, which can be obtained within the scope of activity at ZSSM Bern
- Experience in treating pain and/or stress-related disorders is an advantage
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Responsibility, empathy, and enjoyment in conceptual co-design
