Your Tasks
- Planning, construction, and setup of test facilities for large-scale fracture and load tests
- Conducting experimental investigations in clay construction as well as in timber and concrete construction
- Participation in test reports and documentation
- Setup of measurement and data acquisition systems
- Calibration, maintenance, and repair of measuring and auxiliary equipment
- Conducting accredited material tests in the field of concrete construction
- Assistance with laboratory exercises as well as bachelor and master theses
Your Profile
- Completed technical basic training (EFZ), e.g., polymechanic or construction laboratory technician; further training as a technician HF is an advantage or BSc FH (civil engineering/mechanical engineering/mechatronics)
- Several years of experience in testing and workshop environments; confident in handling hydraulics and mechanical assemblies
- Manual dexterity as well as careful and precise working methods
- High initiative and independence
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
