Technical Employee Laboratory – Competence Center Building Envelope and Structural Engineering 80 – 100%

• Planning, construction, and setup of test facilities for large-scale fracture and load tests
• Conducting experimental investigations in clay construction as well as in timber and concrete construction
• Participation in test reports and documentation
• Setup of measurement and data acquisition systems
• Calibration, maintenance, and repair of measuring and auxiliary equipment
• Conducting accredited material tests in the field of concrete construction
• Assistance with laboratory exercises as well as bachelor and master theses

• Completed technical basic training (EFZ), e.g., polymechanic or construction laboratory technician; further training as a technician HF is an advantage or BSc FH (civil engineering/mechanical engineering/mechatronics)
• Several years of experience in testing and workshop environments; confident in handling hydraulics and mechanical assemblies
• Manual dexterity as well as careful and precise working methods
• High initiative and independence
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
