Business Support Specialist

for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.

Primary Job Function:

Coordinate Sample Request process assuring on time shipment of sample to support registration/submission process to Health Authority of Abbott Affiliate

Coordinate Discontinuation Process of product not needed anymore assuring proper removal of product and related identifier code from all Abbott system

Cooperate to the continuous process improvement of the team providing support in data extraction, analysis and visualization

Core Job Responsibilities:

Work with Planning, Distribution and Requestor, search into SAP to find suitable samples to support registration purpose ensuring to meet target date for submission to health Authority

Manage assigned Discontinuation projects in the Atom system and manage the discontinuation of product and material codes in Agile system. Follow-up with involved stakeholders in case of delays and to ensure a prompt resolution

Ensure monthly Discontinuation and Samples monitoring and KPIs review for assigned Region to ensure a constant alignment on priorities, prompt resolution of issues and identification of process improvements

Create and monitor KPIs of relevant processes managed, identify, and implement improvement actions

Support the creation and review of procedures for main processes

Support the business with the data extraction, analysis, and visualization

Position Accountability/Scope:

The position impacts EPD's ability to meet short- and long-term growth objectives by providing samples on-time for submission purpose allowing to renew registration of existing product or new ones

The position impacts EPD's support to have all Abbott systems clear and aligned about products not used anymore

Key stakeholders include Abbott Affiliates, TPMs, Abbott Internal Sites, RA, QA, Distribution, Planning, Marketing, Master Data team, Labelling team

Minimum Education:

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

Proven communication skills – in English - written and verbal.

Good knowledge of business systems and tools, such as SAP, Oracle Agile PLM, ATOM is a plus

Good knowledge of Office tools, like Word, Power point and Excel (Power BI is a plus)

Desired skills/experiences include:

Proven communication skills – in a main EPD business language other than English is a strong advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Demonstrated accuracy, great attention to detail

Project management, issue identification and strong problem analysis and solution development skills.
