TheVaccine Formulation Institute is a not-for-profit organization created in 2012at the request of the World Health Organization. VFI’s mission is to facilitateaccess to adjuvant technologies for the benefit of the global vaccinecommunity, through provision of adjuvants, R&D on vaccine formulation, andtraining. VFI’soffices and laboratories are located in the Geneva and Lausanne areas(Switzerland) and VFI’s managerial staff is located throughout Europe. VFI is apartner in several global vaccine development consortia and programmes,contributing to global health worldwide with a specific focus onresource-constrained countries.
