System Administrator (Full-time)

Swiss AI AG is looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join our Team.

Responsibilities

1. UNIX System Management:

  • Administer and maintain UNIX-based systems, including macOS and Linux machines located in
  • our office and in our data center (physical presence on-site when required).
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance and monitoring tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues (hardware and software) promptly.

2. Identity Management:

  • Implement and manage identity and access management using existing solution.
  • Ensure secure and efficient user authentication and authorization processes.
  • Regularly review and update access controls and permissions.

3. Back-up Solutions:

  • Design, implement, and manage back-up solutions.
  • Conduct regular testing of back-up and recovery processes.

4. Network Configuration and Maintenance:

  • Configure and maintain local office and data center networks, including cabling, routers, and
  • switches.
  • Implement and manage VPN and DNS solutions for secure remote access.

5. Docker Container Management:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Docker containers for production and development processes.
  • Ensure the security and efficiency of Dockerized applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Docker containers and orchestration.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience as a System Administrator with a focus on UNIX systems.
  • Knowledge of identity management using L DAP is advantageous.
  • Experience in implementing and managing back-up and recovery solutions is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding in configuring and maintaining networks.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker container management.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining local networks, protocols and routing.
  • Proficiency in English.
