Context 
As the Global Head of Safety, Health, Environment & Security (SHE&S) at Siegfried, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally conscious workplace for our 3700 employees across multiple sites. Own and lead initiatives to establish and maintain robust safety standards, drive environmental sustainability, and ensure the well-being of our workforce.

Your role

Governance
* Continuously improve SHE systems both locally and globally and foster a safety culture. An essential part of this role is to establish and monitor global SHE&S standards on a global basis
* Guide a team of three direct reports, and up to 75 colleagues topic-wise. Bring people in project teams together, form strong topic-based communities withing SHE&S, facilitating the exchange and learning from each other. 
* Streamline global SHE rules. Lead site SHE teams in implementing best practices and compliance measures. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure effectiveness
Projects & Operations
* In this hands-on role, you drive new initiatives and lead projects to success. Help define Siegfried's climate goals and collaborate in teams to achieve them
* Act as Siegfried's SHE&S expert, especially for our five Drug Products sites. You ensure overall compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
* Conduct internal corporate SHE audits and support upcoming external audits. Identify SHE gaps. Coach, enable and empower cross-functional individuals and teams
* Act as the point of contact for SHE&S events and escalations, ensure appropriate resolution and reporting.

Your profile

Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in SHE&S management in the pharmaceutical or related industry is our most important criterion for this role. It will help you to identify optimization potential and act as a sparring partner for our organization.
* Strong project management skills and a track record of driving initiatives to completion
* A technical background in fields such as chemical engineering, pharmacy, medicine, environmental science or comparable gives you a good idea of our topics
Personal Competencies
* Proven ability to navigate dynamic environments and lead change initiatives. You enjoy a hands-on role and atmosphere paired with strategic work
* Excellent communication skills in both English. If you speak either German or French or or Spanish on top, this would be a nice to have 
* For this global role, you are able to structure and balance many topics at the same time

The Siegfried company is a popular employer in the Zofingen region, where we meet our social responsibility by training apprentices.
