Product Manager for Bellows in BU ADV, m/w (100%)

 

YOUR CHALLENGES

 

  • Own the responsibility for VATs outstanding Bellows product series, work within the Business Unit ADV (Advanced industrial), serve solutions to a wide range of applications, from Vacuum applications incl. semiconductor, large R&D projects, synchrotons to medical to aerospace.
  • Manage your Bellows product life cycle during all phases (ideation, business case, product development, pricing, cost and supplier control, phase-in, training, marketing documentation, improvement, customization, phase-out).
  • Own the interface to sales teams and customers for all technical aspects in defined markets.
  • Coordinate simultaneous developments of multiple product solutions and values according to customer requests and product roadmap.
  • Monitor and optimize profitability of product lines and regions. Implement value propositions.
  • Cooperate with all BU's of VAT to take advantage of synergies in product offering to ADV customers.
  • Identify market trends and technical roadmaps of customers to derive needs for adaptation of VAT's product offering.
  • Support the sales entities of VAT group in product training, customer acquisition, product presentations and negotiations.
  • Establish technical customer documentation like manuals and product data sheets according to applicable regulatory requirements.

 

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

 

  • Degree in science or engineering. A good know how of mechanical and electrical systems and/or vacuum experience preferred.
  • Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position.
  • Ability to drive x-functional teams from sales to engineering to supply chain.
  • Experience in product management within the vacuum industry is of advantage.
  • Strong Experience in managing international customers and projects on a global scale.
  • Strong entrepreneurship and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to identify market developments and derive requirements that influence the future valve business.
  • Fluent in English, ability to negotiate in speaking and writing. Fluency in German is of advantage.
