Software Engineer 9MM++ (f/m/d) - Embedded SW / Python / C#/ VHDL / English/ German

For our customer in Medical Device industry based in Zurich region we are looking for a highly qualified Software Engineer 9MM++ (f/m/d) .

Background:

we develop hardware and software for hearing devices. The position will support the embedded software development teams by maintaining and evolving a signal sniffing & analyzing tool. In addition to standard communication protocols (e.g. I2C) the tool also supports a proprietary protocol. The tool is composed of a sniffing HW based on FPGA (VHDL) and of an analyzing tool running on PC (C#). As both components work together, we are looking for one person being able to work on both components.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

The main focus is to prepare the upgrade of the tool for the next generation platform. To understand the context and the code, the assignment will start with some debugging activities.

Note, the code bases have grown during many years, with multiple authors. Bugs are often not easy to reproduce.

Must Haves:

• Electronical or Embedded SW or SW engineer degree
• C# - at least 2 years of experience
• VHDL - at least 2 years of experience
• Python - at least 2 years- especially with focus of future extension
• Independent
• Self-driven
• Curious
• English is a must; German is a nice to have.
