THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  •  Continuous improvement and maintenance of common FIFA delivery components and processes used across FIFA products (Azure DevOps with focus on CI/CD, Terraform modules and Prisma Cloud policies).
  • Define the strategic direction and coordinate software development lifecycle at FIFA with focus on DevOps area. 
  • Establish and implement the FIFA best practices with regards to DevOps across FIFA products. 
  • Continuous improvement and maintenance of FIFA best practices by incorporating changes from your own research, feedback from agile product teams and other FIFA departments. 
  • Making sure all agile product teams follow FIFA best practices regarding processes and technology. 
  • Promote collaboration and coordinate activities for software development across all FIFA technology departments. 
  • Conduct recurring assessments with agile product teams to evaluate their adherence to FIFA best practices and present the results of the assessments, including prioritization of next steps with the FIFA Product Manager. 
  • Gather and present information regarding product health and quality (e.g., product KPIs) for FIFA management. 
  • Responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by the agile product teams for FIFA products. 
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance delivery process for all custom development across FIFA.
  • Manage budget, suppliers, and contracts for software development

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
  • 1+ years of experience with Terraform
  • 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML)
  • Cloud Providers: Microsoft Azure (must have) / Amazon Web Service (nice to have) 
  • Application Hosting: Kubernetes (Helm/Docker), Azure App Service, Virtual Machine 
  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps (YAML)
  • IaC: Terraform
  • Logging: Splunk, Application Insights
  • Programming Languages: Powershell, .NET, C#, SQL
  • Tools: Azure DevOps, Sonar Cloud, Confluence/Atlassian, Prisma Cloud, LeanIX, Splunk, SignalFx , Edgio, AppScan, SendGrid
  • Databases: Azure SQL Database 
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Ability to identify important tasks, prioritizing them, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • Forward thinking to discover new patterns and opportunities.
  • Pragmatic approach with defining new/adjusting existing standards and guidelines.
