Responsibilities and Duties

• Development and maintenance of inhouse data handling tools
• Perform data analysis on measurement data
• Reporting and documentation
• Managing software used in production
• Setting up backup and recovery schemes

Hard Skills & Experiences

• Profound knowledge in Python, particularly handling large projects
• Experience in creating and deploying web apps (HTML, JavaScript, Dash, Flask, React)
• Setting up managing the backend of Web Apps (VM, OS, Database, Proxy, Routes)
• Robust linux skills
• Database management experience (preferably MySQL)
• Experience in managing growing code bases with several contributors by using Version Control Systems (preferably GIT)
• Good communication skills
• Management of different stakeholders (internal and external)
• Experience in optical test metrology is a plus
• General interest in optics

Soft Skills

• Independent, work towards an objective
• A structured approach to work and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to present results and challenges clearly
• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Profile

• Preferably a relevant degree, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. But experienced Technicians will be considered as well.
• 1-5 years of work experience
• English (required), German is a plus
