How you can make an impact


Our Trainee Program lasts in total 18 months. Within this period, you will work in four different departments for 3-6 months each. You will be based in Wallisellen, Switzerland:
Quality and Purchasing: You will learn to prepare quality documentation, support configuration and change management, conduct initial inspections, assist in audits, draft and manage supplier contracts, assist in supplier negotiations, build contract management processes, continuously optimize processes, and align contract strategies within the Stadler Signalling Division. Project Management: Here you will learn all the tools which we use for project management. Moreover, you will manage sub-projects in a prioritized and structured manner as a Junior Commercial Project Leader.Finance: You will get to know the role of CFO within the division and understand the steering and reporting tools.-Sales: You will work with bids to understand the sales process, get to know the sales calculations and build up a basic knowhow of our customer base and their needs.

Additionally, we will provide you with training inputs into further topics such as leadership, HR and other.

How you will contribute


  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business Administration or Engineering and Management (e.g. Mtec)
  • Quick comprehension and high willingness to learn and to go the extra mile
  • A large amount of commitment and high self-initiative
  • Passionate about what we do
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, French is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
