Senior Client Service Officer Private Banking Geneva

Main responsibilities

• Supporting Client Relationship Officers (CRO) in their daily Private Banking activities, by performing comprehensive and diverse administrative duties;


• Providing excellent service to clients (regular contacts with clients by phone, email, Webex, and visits);


• Preparation and control of documents for the account openings;


• Processing operations, e.g. fiduciary deposits, wire and securities transfers, loans, etc.;


• Procurement of financial market orders (equities, bonds, options, structured products, foreign exchange, precious metals, commodities);


• Supporting CRO team in actively identifying, managing and mitigating all risks arising from their performed activities;


• Responsible for driving the processes to ensure compliance, mitigation, and resolution for all EFG Risk Scorecard items;


• Performing ad hoc duties related to the CRO business, as assigned by the CRO Team Head;


• Management information system analysis and investigation;


• Enhancing financial growth through process simplification, risk mitigation, and innovation;


• Coordination of the CSO team.

Skills and experience

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or related field;


• Minimum 10 years of experience as a CSO, or other closely related job function, in a private banking environment;


• Excellent understanding of financial instruments (money market, fixed income, equities, equity options, foreign exchange, investment funds);


• Excellent Windows office skills (excel, outlook, etc.);


• Excellent knowledge of Risk, Cross-border, Compliance / AML topics;


• Able to cope with pressure and a demanding workload;


• Flexible and able to multitask;


• Accurate and detail oriented;


• Ambitious;


• Fluent English and French.
