The Head of Finance will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Head of Finance will be expected to provide operational and strategic finance support and will be accountable for ensuring that accounting, controlling as well as forecasting/planning processes present the organization in an accurate and complete manner. The Head of Finance will drive operational improvements through process realignment, automation and digital transformation.

Main responsibilities include the following:

• Accountable for accurate financial reporting and tax.

• Accountable for AO, AP, AR and liquidity management.

• Responsible for finance and controlling.

• Responsible for quarterly forecasts, annual budget and long-term financial planning.

• Building stakeholder relationships and confidence in understanding and explaining financials with the Senior Leadership Team, the Board’s Finance Committee and peers.

• Creation and maintenance of a robust control environment.

• Alignment of operational processes and functions.
  
  

Qualification and Experience:

• A relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar management role.

• A proven combination of strategic thinking and pragmatic, hands-on doing.

• Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills, in both English and German.

• Demonstrated success leading teams and building strong work relationships in culturally diverse organizations.

• Experienced handling of ERP systems, database management and software implementation.
