You will play a pivotal role in shaping trade marketing strategies tailored to the Swiss market, this will include the management of in store activation, development of shopper marketing strategies based on data and insights and the execution of specific category management and customer projects.
Responsibilities
In-Store Activation & Shopper Marketing:
Develop shopper marketing strategies per channel to elevate category awareness and conversion rates for our brands
Lead the development of promotional materials, ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders and timely availability on the shop floor
Maintain operational and administrative tasks related to displays and POS materials, optimizing logistics for maximum impact
Monitor and analyze the performance of in-store activations and makes data-driven adjustments for maximum impact
Share best practices internally, with the aim to develop synergies for in-store materials, increase the knowledge of peers and represent the Swiss Trade Marketing department
Shopper Insights and Data Analysis:
Support the development of channel strategies by analyzing shopper insights and trends to identify growth opportunities
Provide actionable recommendations to primary stakeholders that support PVM’s financial goals and brand objectives
Track and evaluate campaigns and trade marketing initiatives, offering insights to optimize POS strategies
Monitor business and market performance at customer level to inform strategic decisions
Category Management:
Stay up to date about the key trends and developments within the FMCG
Manage layout instructions and basic planograms
Analyze the category, the assortment and portfolio to drive and monitor Must-Sell-List
Execute specific customer projects together with the sales team to ensure effective distribution and merchandising of products in store
Requirements
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Previous experience in FMCG is advantageous
Results-driven personality with a passion for learning and thriving in a dynamic environment
Proactive nature that likes taking ownership and presenting ideas effectively
Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to work
Experience with NielsenIQ and Catman data is a plus
Able to generate creative and innovative, out of the box ideas, fresh perspectives and value added solutions
Strategic thinking and commercial understanding of the Swiss retail landscape
Fluent in English (verbal and written) and at least an intermediate level of German
