The Role
As the ISG Leader & Tech-Sales Manager Switzerland, you will lead the local Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) business, overseeing both sales and pre-sales organizations while driving the country’s technology strategy. You will combine strong commercial leadership with deep technical expertise to accelerate growth, deliver customer success, and position Lenovo as a trusted innovation partner across enterprise, public sector, and partner ecosystems.
You act as a senior leader, trusted advisor, and people manager—representing the Swiss business both externally and internally, while shaping the future direction of our technology and solutions portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end ISG business and define the go-to-market strategy for Switzerland
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across enterprise and public sector customers
- Drive business growth across servers, storage, cloud, edge, AI/ML, and as-a-service (TruScale) offerings
- Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing sales and pre-sales teams
- Own forecasting, pipeline management, and overall business planning cadence
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Channel, Services, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR) in a One Lenovo approach
- Define and execute the local technology vision and innovation strategy
- Translate complex technology trends into scalable, customer-centric solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on digital and infrastructure transformation
- Represent Lenovo at industry events, conferences, and executive engagements
- Oversee technical escalations, ensuring effective resolution and stakeholder communication
Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience in an ICT, data center, or solutions-driven organization
- Proven track record in both business leadership and technology/solutions leadership
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud, edge computing, AI/ML, and cybersecurity
- Experience leading and developing sales and pre-sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen combined with solid technical expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including C-level engagement
- Established network within the Swiss enterprise and public sector landscape
- Fluency in German and English (French is a plus)
- Strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a matrix environment
