This position reports to:
Sales Support Manager__
Our organization is responsible for delivering the entire electrification for Mining projects worldwide. From high voltage to signal voltage, from local control to the plant automation systems from small motors to large speed-controlled mill drives up to 28 MW all interconnected installed and commissioned ready for operation.
The technical sales team plays an important role in leading the technical proposal and in developing an optimized technical solution. A customer proposal is your base and motivation to optimize the electrical system as you can assess the effects and consequences of your newly proposed solution.
We are looking for a person who combines knowledge of large-scale electrical systems and drives applications with leadership skills developed through projects with interdisciplinary responsibilities. Someone who sees opportunities in challenging tasks, is receptive to new ideas, and is able to develop new solutions by solution-oriented creativity.
Your main responsibility will be:

Functionally lead and guide a technical team across multiple disciplines and multiple country organizations as well as an offer team (or contribute as a team member)

Prepare commercially and technically optimized offers with a focus on Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) solutions in close cooperation with the front sales manager. Electrical plant system knowledge is considered complementary. Prepare overall offer documents and costing, ensuring all product offers align with the project’s offer strategy

Prepare and deliver technical presentations for both internal staff and customers on complex system solutions

Provide technical support for technical meetings, negotiations, and related activities

Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, with a focus on power engineering

At least ten years’ experience relating to Drives system application or in complex electrical system applications (power plants, mining, cement, or similar)

Practical experience in commissioning is welcome

Well-developed analytical abilities and capacity to grasp complex technical issues quickly and effectively

Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—travel commitment up to 15%

Demonstrated skills in sales/consulting are good additional skills

Fluent command of English
