Are you passionate about turning product ideas and hypotheses into working prototypes? The Sensor Innovation team is looking for a hands-on problem solver who feels equally at home with electronics, embedded software and CAD, as well as in the workshop and lab. Working across disciplines, you build prototypes and validate them with customers. Your work helps uncover user needs, reduce risks and define future product requirements.

What you move

• Develop end-to-end prototypes for customer validation and new sensing solutions
• Turn product hypotheses into systems for realistic customer testing
• Combine sensors, electronics, mechanics, embedded software and connectivity in functional prototypes
• Iterate with internal and external customers to sharpen requirements and reduce technical risks

What you bring along

• FH/ETH degree in mechatronics, systems, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on maker mentality and ability to build, test and improve prototypes independently
• Experience in electronics, mechanics, embedded systems, CAD, and additive manufacturing
• Strong skills in some of these areas and the motivation to deepen your expertise in the others
