At coatmaster, you will learn to use AI and automation to make practical improvements to business processes. You will develop your own solutions and put them into use with the relevant teams. The internship is based in the “Automation & A.I.” department within Research & Development (R&D).

What you will learn and deliver

• Understand processes from end to end, identify improvement opportunities and prioritise them with the relevant teams.
• Develop your own AI and automation solutions and put them into practice with the relevant departments.
• Test solutions, evaluate the results and assess the value they create in day-to-day work.
• Complete several full learning and implementation cycles across different departments, building on what you learn.

Your profile

• Student or graduate, for example in a technical field, AI, IT or another discipline.
• Curiosity, initiative and a drive to develop practical solutions and move them forward with others
• Programming skills and/or experience with AI tools.
• Open to graduates, and to students completing a compulsory internship.

What you will take away

You will learn to turn business requirements into working solutions and assess their value. You will deepen your understanding of AI and automation, collaborate with different departments and build the skills to take an idea through to practical use.
