ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:
We are seeking a highly skilled OT Technology Leader to manage and coordinate OT systems within the BUs. This role will work closely with local cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of OT environments, manage OT incidents, and oversee the local implementation of change management processes. As a key liaison between the OT and IT teams at a country level, you will also promote OT/IT convergence initiatives, ensuring seamless communication, integration, and security across the local OT landscape. This is a pivotal country-based role, focused on improving local OT service management, optimizing operational efficiency, and enhancing cybersecurity in coordination with local stakeholders.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Country-Level Incident Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for 2nd-level OT incident support, handling escalation and resolution processes locally, coordinating with third parties and internal teams when necessary.
• Familiar with OT incident response protocols and containment procedures.
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures tailored to ICS environments.
• Ability to coordinate patching or implement compensating controls where patching isn’t possible.
• Risk-based prioritization of OT-specific vulnerabilities.
• Local Change Management
Oversee the OPEX and CAPEX change processes within the country, ensuring that all local changes are tracked, documented, and updated in the OT CMDB.
• Experience managing the lifecycle of OT assets and industrial control equipment (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, IoT devices).
• Familiarity with ISO 55000 standards and best practices in asset governance and risk management.
• Ability to follow and enforce OT asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
• Exposure to enterprise integration (e.g., linking EAM systems like SAP PM with MES and ERP layers).
• OT/IT Convergence Leadership
Act as the local ambassador for OT/IT convergence initiatives, facilitating collaboration between OT and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and process alignment at the country level.
• Experience integrating OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, IoT, etc.) with asset management platforms to enable real-time monitoring.
• Knowledge of digital twin technologies for asset modeling and simulation.
• Familiar with virtualization and cloud technologies (Azure IoT, Azure Data Explorer & Storage).
• Understanding of sustainability metrics and how asset management contributes to ESG goals.
• OT Device & Application Oversight
Manage the onboarding of OT devices to systems such as OT Active Directory, and oversee the lifecycle of OT applications specific to the local environment, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Experience with asset discovery and management tools (Active Directory, xDome, PKI, SCCM, EDR, Sentinel).
• Experience with patch management and secured remote access tools.
• Applying CIS benchmarks or NIST standards for endpoint configuration.
• Managing antivirus, application whitelisting, and USB controls in OT environments.
• Experience with asset auto-discovery tools (preferably in OT).
• Security Oversight
Lead local security assessments for OT systems, implement security best practices, and collaborate with the Managed Detection and Response (MxDR) team to resolve security incidents specific to the country’s OT operations.
• Strong awareness of OT network segmentation (e.g., Purdue Model) and ability to manage endpoints across segmented networks.
• Alignment of asset and endpoint management with cybersecurity practices and OT security standards (IEC 62443, NIST 800-82).
• Compliance and audit readiness for industry regulations.
• Basic understanding of industrial protocols (Profinet, Modbus, OPC) and legacy OT environments.
• Knowledge of Asset Performance Management (APM) tools and frameworks.
• Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with local stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone is informed and trained on OT processes and cybersecurity protocols.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in OT or IT environments with a focus on incident and change management.
• Experience with OT systems (ICS, SCADA) and managing OT devices in a country-specific or regional context.
• Strong project management experience, particularly in local OPEX and CAPEX processes.
• Knowledge of OT security standards and best practices, including segmentation and vulnerability management.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with local teams and third-party vendors.
