Senior Project Engineer Coating Solution Center Europe (gn)

Your Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders
• Managing multiple technical thermal spray coating projects simultaneously, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables are clearly controlled
• Preparing and approving technical documentation, including quotations, work plans, project documentation, coating specifications, technical reports, and QA documentation
• Analyzing laboratory results and process data, and compiling clear, reliable final reports
• Providing technical consulting support to internal and external customers
• Planning and coordinating coating trials and campaigns
• Collaborating with other Coating Solution Centers to share knowledge, project experience, and best practices

Your Profile

• You hold a university-level technical degree and bring at least five years of relevant professional experience, supported by strong knowledge of surface technologies. You have proven experience managing multiple international technical projects and are confident interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and related documentation. Experience in thermal spraying is required.
• You combine technical expertise with strong project execution skills. You can break down complex technical projects into manageable work packages, delegate activities effectively, and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. You demonstrate sound judgment, strong customer orientation, and good commercial awareness.
• You are open-minded, initiative-taking, and comfortable working in an international environment. You communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, and you can motivate, coach, and support high-performing teams. Good written and spoken English is required.
