Your mission:
As IAM Service Owner, you ensure secure and reliable access to business applications and systems by managing the full identity lifecycle. You take ownership of the IAM service and platform, driving continuous improvement, compliance, and stakeholder alignment. Your work directly supports the organization's security posture and operational efficiency.
Your tasks:
- Take ownership of the IAM service, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant identity and access processes across the organization
- Operate and continuously improve the Sailpoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform and related IAM tools
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical IAM solutions and ensure their effective implementation
- Maintain integrations between IAM systems and key platforms such as Azure AD, Active Directory and business applications
- Define and implement role-based access control (RBAC) and automated provisioning processes to enhance efficiency and security
- Monitor service performance, manage incidents and escalations, and lead root cause analysis and service restoration efforts
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, and business units to align IAM services with organizational needs and compliance standards
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT or engineering relevant subject
- Proven experience as a Service Owner or in a leading IAM role, ideally with SailPoint and cloud-based IAM platformsEight years of experience in IT engineering at minimum
- Strong technical understanding and ability to connect business processes with IAM architecture
- A proactive, resilient mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and security awareness
- Problem solving: You seek accurate information to analyze problems, break down complex issues into manageable parts, and approach solutions in a systematic and structured way
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills in both German and English
