Company Description

IOTA Group is seeking a Security Systems Technician to join an electronic security project in Zürich, Switzerland. This opportunity is suited to a technician who is confident working on customer sites and can contribute from the installation stage through to commissioning and handover.

Job Description

• Install, configure and commission CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Test installations, diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and system documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and customers.
• Support each project through commissioning and final handover.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in electronic security systems installation, configuration and commissioning.
• Good understanding of IP networks and low-voltage installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively and work independently on customer sites.
• Technical background in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, low-voltage systems, IT or a related field.
• Experience with Genetec, Lenel / LenelS2, PACOM, Milestone or Axis; relevant certification is an advantage. Experience with comparable platforms will also be considered.
• English and basic German required; stronger German skills are a significant advantage.

• Initial duration: 6 months (renewable)
