À propos de cette offre
A loving start for children 6 months to 4 years which sparks curiosity, care, and play-based, enquiry-led learning in English and German.
At Tandem IMS Nursery, infants and toddlers discover the world through their senses, play, and gentle routines.
Our educators create a safe, predictable environment that nurtures language, cognitive growth, social-emotional skills, and motor development. Always with kindness and individual attention.
All campuses share the same Tandem IMS Nursery philosophy and curriculum. Group sizes and staffing reflect each site’s facilities and age-mix.
In Early Years, our youngest children build trust and independence through familiar routines, songs, sensory play, and daily outdoor time.
Each child has a key caregiver who ensures a smooth settling-in process and provides emotional security every day.
Group size: max. 12 children
Minimum attendance: 3 days per week
In Pre-School, children engage in structured and creative activities that expand their communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
They explore both languages, start recognizing letters through the UK-based Phonics programme, experiment with numbers, and express ideas through art, stories, and group projects.
Our Early Years curriculum centres on each child’s needs and milestones. Teachers design warm, sensory-rich experiences with clear developmental objectives across all areas of learning.
Parents and teachers meet regularly to set goals and ensure continuity between home and school.
In Pre-School, children move further into enquiry-based learning: they explore a broad theme by asking questions; teachers then guide projects using the children’s interests to “discover” answers together.
Areas we grow every day: personal, social & emotional development; communication & language; physical development; early maths & problem-solving; creative arts; knowledge & understanding of the world; early science & technology.
Zurich includes an alternate schedule with free-choice centres from 10:00, “Register” and morning circle; all campuses follow the same calm-to-active flow.
We have established our own bus service to and from our school in Zurich.

We follow a gentle, attachment-led settling-in with a parent present at first. Stays increase gradually, matching the child’s cues to build trust with key educators.
Short initial visits evolve into longer, independent sessions. We use predictable routines and a named key person so children feel secure quickly.
Yes, playfully and age-appropriately. Early Years focus on pre-literacy (listening, stories, vocabulary, sign) and pre-numeracy (sorting, patterning). Pre-School adds phonics, emergent writing, counting and comparing. Always through enquiry and play.
Daily. Weather-appropriate outdoor time is part of the routine on every campus (gardens, walks, outdoor classrooms).
We partner with families to create a consistent plan. Educators use positive routines, child-led timing, and calm guidance.
Yes, campuses provide nappies and balanced meals/snacks. Dietary needs and allergies are discussed during enrollment.
We align with Zurich’s school calendar but close only a limited number of weeks per year (plus staff days). Holiday Clubs/extended care run during most breaks.
Absolutely. With caring native speakers, consistent routines, and translanguaging strategies, children absorb both languages naturally at their own pace.
