EHS Senior Specialist Operations Biologics (m/f/d)

Key responsibilities:

• Acting as point of contact for EHS topics and supporting the allocated operational unit(s) in achieving compliance with EHS regulations

• Supporting the business in performing EHS risk assessments

• Performing EHS assessment and approval of technical change requests

• Participating in and providing subject matter expertise during Safety Gemba Walks, audits and other inspections

• Facilitating execution and documentation of EHS incident investigations

• Supporting the business with EHS CAPA definition and tracking

• Collaborating closely with the Safety Coaches from the allocated operational unit(s) as part of the implementation of EHS initiatives

• Conducting trainings on EHS topics as laid out in the overall site EHS training strategy

• Acting as representative of site EHS (EHS ambassador) for allocated investment projects

Key requirements:

• Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or equivalent

• Significant working experience in chemical or biological manufacturing, ideally in a leading role

• Swiss safety specialist (EKAS or ASGS) or comparable EHS qualification

• In-depth knowledge of Swiss safety regulations

• Advanced experience in occupational safety in a scientific or technical environment

• Fluency in English and German
