Due to the steady growth of our company and to strengthen our bioanalytical laboratory in the Ligand Binding Service Team in Fehraltorf / Zurich, we are looking for a
(Associate) Scientist 80-100%
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and validate ligand-binding and cell-based assays to support bioanalysis (pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, immunogenicity assessment) for preclinical and clinical studies
- Design, execute and interpret experiments and document according to Celerion’s standards
- Contribute to assay development strategies
- Identified and resolve technical issues facing during assay development
- Maintain GxP compliance following internal SOPs and regulatory guidelines (e.g. EMA, FDA, ICH)
- Effectively engage with stakeholders within our organization Ensure timely delivery of projects
Our requirements:
- Laboratory technician or BSc / MSc in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biology or related field
- At least 2 years professional experience with apprenticeship or BSc degree
- Good practical experience in relevant bioanalytical techniques (e.g. ELISA, ECLIA), preferable within an industry setting.
- Experience with cell-based assays and/or cell culture techniques is an advantage
- Experience in working in a GxP environment is considered an advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at troubleshooting technical challenges
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Good computer skills
- Highly self-motivated, reliable and flexible to provide superior service to our clients
- Good communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Business fluent English (written and spoken), good German skills are advantageous
