We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Middleware Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on middleware integrations. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and architects to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and ensure smooth integration of middleware solutions across systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse functional and technical requirements related to middleware integration.
- Work with internal or external development and architecture teams to define and implement integration solutions using middleware technologies.
- Map business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to optimize workflows.
- Facilitate communication between business teams, developers, and QA to ensure successful project delivery.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation including BRDs(Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), process flows, and technical specifications.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate middleware integrations and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Support end-to-end integration testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and deployment processes.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and challenges related to middleware projects and propose solutions.
- Ensure middleware solutions align with overall business goals and Saint-Gobin IT strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experienceas a Business Analyst, with a focus on middleware or integration projects.
- Strong understanding of middleware technologiessuch as SAP BTP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Control-M, Apache Kafka, IBM Middleware, or similar platforms.
- Experience in defining and working with APIs, web services, and message queues.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch processing).
- Proficiency in writing functional specificationsand technical documentation.
- Strong skills in data analysis, mapping, and transformation.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Archi, or similar.
- Familiarity with testing middleware integrations and creating UAT test plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
- Good German and English language skills, knowledge of French an advantage
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration tools.
- Experience in ArchiMate Model and working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and SOAP.
- Basic SQL knowledge for querying and analysing data.
