For its site in Mex, Switzerland, BOBST Mex SA is looking for its future Process Specialist in printing and flatbed die-cutting. This is a full-time permanent position (100%), available immediately.

You are an experienced operator or a process specialist with strong expertise in gravure printing and in-line die-cutting? This position is made for you!

This role involves international travel representing up to 50–60% of working time.

Main mission

The main objective of the Process Specialist is to ensure that every printing and in-line die-cutting machine installed and commissioned at customers' sites reaches the required levels of quality and productivity.

This is achieved by providing first-class support to customers, assisting and accompanying them during first productions, and continuously training them on machine settings and operations.

Your responsibilities

Training and production support at customers' sites :

Project follow-up and customer ramp-up

• Train customer operators to ensure efficient machine operations and high-quality printing and die-cutting.
• Provide continuous support and technical expertise to customers to ensure excellent long-term results.
• Quickly identify and troubleshoot process issues and machine malfunctions to ensure efficient production.
• Cooperate closely with R&D departments to analyze issues and suggest appropriate solutions.

• Ensure a steady ramp-up of production and customer know-how through on-site support.
• Follow projects before and after machine acceptance (FAT and SAT) to achieve high production volumes and consistent quality.
• Build strong on-site customer relationships while strictly adhering to safety standards.

. Technical skills and experience:

Soft skills :

• Proven expertise in printing and die-cutting processes, including machine setup and troubleshooting.
• Minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in gravure printing and in-line die-cutting;
• Knowledge of flatbed die-cutting and/or flexo printing is a strong asset.
• Experience with web-fed machines and die-cutting for carton applications.
• Good command of technical English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.

Willingness to travel internationally 50–60% of working time.

• Strong team spirit and ability to dive and cooperate into multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest and curiosity for continuous improvement and operator training.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
• Flexibility and strong willingness to travel.
