Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment group and a wholly owned subsidiary of Pictet with expertise in hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private debt and infrastructure. With teams based globally, PAA constructs, manages and advises portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.
Pictet has high growth ambitions for PAA for the coming years, notably to expand its product and solution offering as well as further develop its institutional and intermediary client base. In view of these developments, PAA is looking to hire a dynamic, high-calibre Product Marketing Analyst to join the Product & Business Development team.
The Product & Business Development team is composed of 13 professionals across Europe and Asia, with expertise in Product Strategy & Development, Product Marketing and Client Solutions, across all alternative asset classes: Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Hedge Funds.
Your role
As part of the Product Marketing team, the Analyst will contribute to all product marketing initiatives, playing a direct role in the preparation and maintenance of investor-facing materials across all PAA products. In more details, the responsibility of the analyst will be to:
- Partner closely with Product Strategy, Investment and Investor Relation Teams to define and continuously refine product positioning, value propositions and messaging frameworks across private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure and hedge fund strategies, for a broad range of investor segments (institutional, wealth, family offices);
- Act as project manager for marketing-related initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, liaising with Compliance, and providing clear and regular updates to all parties involved;
- Prepare, update and maintain high-quality Pitchbooks, Teasers, Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Frequently Ask Questions (FAQs), and other relevant investor and fundraising materials with a high standard of visual, technical and content quality, ensuring alignment with firm-wide messaging and branding;
- Conduct market, sector and competitor analysis to support fundraising strategy, product positioning and marketing materials;
- Produce accurate reporting packs and internal presentations, ensuring consistency, clarity and alignment across the private assets platform;
- Serve as the “Tech champion” within the Product & Business Development team, promoting and showcasing best practices in the use of digital and AI tools for research, data analysis, content creation and presentation development;
- Own and maintain the PAA internal website sections related to our product activities, ensuring it serves as a high‑quality vitrine of our division, and respond to internal requests related to content updates and enhancements;
- Pilot the revamp of private assets reporting templates, working closely with relevant stakeholders to modernise content, structure and visuals, and to enhance consistency across products and client segments;
- Play a key role in the digitalisation of the client experience, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving how private assets information, reporting and marketing content are delivered to clients and distributors.
Your profile
- University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field is required. Additional qualifications such as CAIA or CFA are a plus.
- A strong understanding of alternative markets, gained through a previous internship or full-time position in the marketing or investor relations department of an alternative investment firm, is a significant asset (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt, Infrastructure, and/or Hedge Funds);
- Proven ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders, external or internal, all levels of the organizational hierarchy, providing the appropriate level of detail according to the situation;
- Demonstrated ability to create content, build coherent storylines and transform them into high‑quality, visually engaging deliverables;
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to distill complex financial and investment information into clear, compelling and investor-friendly materials;
- Excellent team player with the ability to take initiative and build constructive, long-term working relationships with key stakeholders;
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools for research, data analysis and presentation preparation is considered an advantage.
