Perfil del candidato

• Relevant education in telecommunication, information technology, data networks, electronics, or sim.

• Experience in automation, Industry 4.0 Operational Technology (OT), industrial control systems, industrial remote monitoring systems

(especially for energy generation or transmission) appreciated

• Knowledge of main data communication protocols used in industrial contexts

• Knowledge about cybersecurity (concepts, norms, standards, procedures)

• Contractors’ management skills: purchasing and negotiation

• Capacity for analysis and synthesis

• Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in Spanish and English (min. B2)

Actividades

Reporting to the Operation and Maintenance manager, the SCADA/IT specialist will be a member of the PV technical asset management

(“TAM”) team of TotalEnergies Renewables Ibérica (“TERIb”). He/she will be the reference expert and competence holder of all topics related to

information technology (IT) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems associated with the operation and monitoring of all

photovoltaic plants within TERIb’s portfolio of renewable electricity generation in Spain.

The SCADA/IT specialist will be responsible of the following activities, in coordination with TERIb O&M Manager, and in accordance with

TotalEnergies’ strategies defined at national and international levels:

• Review, update and optimize technical specifications applicable to engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of IT and

SCADA systems of TERIb’s assets

• Plant connectivity: plan, organize, supervise and monitor all processes related to data interconnection and data communications between the

PV plants (including associated grid connection facilities) and remote service providers, control centers, grid operators, energy market trading

representatives, physical or cloud-based platforms, and similar, both before and after start of commercial operation of PV plants

• Cybersecurity: facilitate and ensure the application of group’s cybersecurity policies, standards and requirements applicable to PV plant

operation and PV plant data communications, coordinating and auditing external providers when relevant

• Contribute to the definition, and lead the implementation, of TERIb’s strategy and budgets for centralized asset monitoring, remote

supervision & control infrastructures, computer-aided maintenance systems

• Manage the procurement/development, and the technical deployment, of the IT platforms and tools chosen for asset management and/or

O&M. Monitor their performance over time and manage updates, upgrades and improvements

• For the IT/SCADA systems (hardware, software and infrastructures) used for local and remote PV asset monitoring and asset management:

detect technical issues, take initiative to resolve, monitor the resolution. Managing technical warranties and/or contractors when relevant

• Coordinate, monitor, supervise the main contracts and supplies for IT & telecommunication products and services, at the sites and at

centralized TERIb’s monitoring centers when present

• Digitalization: explore possibilities offered by Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics for optimization of TERIb’s asset management

activities. Evaluate, propose and lead implementation of innovative IT solutions and tools for asset management and O&M

• Spain is a priority country for TotalEnergies in Europe. Its portfolio of solar projects under development in Spain amounts at more than 5 GW,

which positions the Group as a major player in the country’s energy transition.

• At the moment, TERIb has no centralized plant monitoring infrastructure in place yet in Spain. The challenge is to progressively develop and

operate suitable internal SCADA/IT processes and systems that will allow efficient control, ensure performance optimization, and create value

on this large renewable energy generation portfolio.
