Position Overview
We are seeking a Scientist in DNA nanotechnology to drive the development of novel nanostructures and their application in biomarker detection. This role combines hands-on research with translational development, offering the opportunity to shape early-stage technologies into impactful products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and validate DNA nanostructures for biomarker detection.
- Apply DNA nanotechnology to tissue- and solution-based assays (IHC, RNA ISH, ELISA, FACS).
- Perform bioconjugation of oligonucleotides with proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules.
- Purify and analyze oligonucleotides and conjugates (by chromatography, electrophoresis).
- Collaborate with product and application teams to translate R&D findings into usable solutions.
- Document, interpret, and present experimental data.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in DNA nanotechnology (DNA origami or related methods)
- Practical expertise in bio-conjugation techniques
- Strong track record of experimental design, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in industry or translational research environment
- Basic proficiency in bioinformatics or data science (R, Python)
- Familiarity with microscopy image acquisition and analysis
- Experience with electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
