Institut International de Lancy, a private international school, welcomes more than 1400 pupils of multiple nationalities, from nursery school through secondary education. The English Secondary Section is looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and motivated teacher for the following subject:

Substitute Science / Biology Teacher

Required Qualifications

• A recognized teaching qualification (eg. PGCE) and experience teaching secondary school pupils;
• A Bachelor degree or equivalent;
• Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme is preferred;
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• International teaching experience in a multicultural environment;
• IB experience would be beneficial;
• Perfect command of the English language ;
• A working knowledge of French would be beneficial;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability and willingness to work as a team within and across disciplines.

Rate occupation
14 periods per week

Type of contract
Fixed-term contract from November 2026 to April 2027.
