KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- You develop and implement category strategies and manage assigned procurement categories throughout their entire strategic lifecycle.
- You conduct spend, market, supplier, and demand analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization potential through data-driven insights.
- You design, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards, benchmarks, and business cases to support informed decision-making.
- You drive the harmonization of products, specifications, and data structures while promoting standardization and continuous process improvement.
- You lead cross-functional projects, facilitate stakeholder committees, and collaborate closely with Procurement, Hospitals, Supply Chain Management, and business functions.
YOURE PROFILE
- You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, complemented by solid training in Strategic Procurement and Category Management.
- You bring at least five years of experience in Category Management, ideally within healthcare or another complex and regulated environment.
- You possess strong analytical capabilities and proven expertise in spend analytics, KPI management, statistics, and data-driven decision-making.
- You successfully navigate complex stakeholder environments, build alignment across diverse interest groups, and communicate confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
- You work in a structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented manner, have strong SAP MM and Microsoft Office skills, and combine a commercial mindset with excellent execution, project management capabilities, and strong communication skills in German and English.
