Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Their Compensation and Payroll
In today's complex global landscape, compliance is non-negotiable. Tax authorities worldwide are intensifying their focus on payroll accuracy and regulatory adherence—making expert guidance more critical than ever. This is where you come in. The Global Employer Services (GES) team, part of Deloitte's Tax & Legal practice, partners with multinational companies to navigate global mobility and payroll complexity with confidence. We deliver end-to-end payroll solutions and strategic advice that keeps our clients compliant, efficient, and ahead of the curve.
How you can make an impact
- Master payroll fundamentals while solving real client challenges — work on complex issues like developing expense policies and navigating withholding tax assessments. You'll learn how payroll connects to broader business strategy.
- Build diverse, practical skills across the full payroll cycle — from monthly processing and wage type reviews to social security audits. Every project expands your technical toolkit and client-facing experience.
- Own critical processes end-to-end — record personnel and salary data, process direct payments via EBICS, distribute payslips, and ensure compliance. You'll see the direct impact of your work and develop a strong foundation in regulatory requirements.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders — interact with local tax and social security authorities, prepare accurate monthly reports using ELM, and build credibility as a trusted payroll professional.
- Contribute meaningfully to your team — learn from one another, develop new skills and participate in the collective growth of you and your colleagues. Your input matters from day one, and you'll grow alongside experienced colleagues who mentor you.
Who We Are Looking For
- You possess strong numerical skills and a keen understanding of complex interrelationships, demonstrating conscientiousness as well as a solution-oriented and team focused working style.
- You enjoy exploring new challenges and are eager to provide comprehensive payroll compliance and advisory services across all facets to multinational corporate clients.
- You hold a qualification in fiduciary services or a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
- You possess a high affinity for technology and are keen to learn and work with Artificial Intelligence, and payroll systems such as Abacus and SAP.
- You have excellent command of English and are fluent in either French or German; additional language skills are considered a significant advantage.
Your Team
Become part of a diverse, multinational and highly motivated team of 30+ across our Swiss offices. We will help you grow both personally and professionally: through our trainings, mentoring programmes and on-the-job learning, but also by connecting with your colleagues across all business lines.
