Job Summary

In this role, you will take ownership of recurring tax compliance tasks for Zurich’s Swiss companies—from preparing tax forms and managing payments to obtaining tax certificates, supporting OECD Pillar 2 data collection work and coordinating internal workshops. What you will do

Timely control, entry in the payment sheet, reconciliation and initiation of payments of tax invoices (profit and capital taxes, real estate gain taxes, and property taxes) from all Swiss cantons for all Swiss companies of the Zurich Group.

Obtaining certificates of residence; preparation of FATCA and CRS certificates as well as beneficial owner confirmations.

Requesting deadline extensions for tax return filings.

Preparation of simple tax returns (profit and capital taxes, real estate gain taxes) and assistance with the preparation of tax returns involving inter-cantonal profit and capital allocation.

Preparation of withholding tax declarations (forms 103 / 106 / 170 / 101 and 102) and initiation of withholding tax payments.Preparation of turnover tax declarations (form 9) and initiation of payments.

Support OECD Pillar 2 data collection including completeness check.

Organization of workshops, team events and meetings with external participants.

Admin support of the department head

What you bring

3+ years relevant tax compliance experience.

Completed commercial apprenticeships (KV) with experience in finance and accounting.

Team-player, reliable and conscientious personality with good numerical skills and IT affinity.

Experienced in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), MS SharePoint and SAP.

Good written and verbal English and German language skills.
