We are looking for a new team member in the role as
EHS Supervisor (m/f/d)- 100%
Location: Mezzovico (TI), Switzerland
Type of Contract: permanent employment
Startdate: in alignment with the candidate’s availabilities
Travels: Weekly Travels to Raron (VS), Switzerland
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Lead, develop, and support teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in EHS performance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including reporting and recordkeeping.
- Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Deliver EHS training programs and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and functional teams to drive EHS performance and support operational goals.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant EHS experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Fluency in German, Italian, and English.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, regulatory requirements, and global customs/tax frameworks.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including experience with business analytics and optimization.
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives and drive productivity or cost‑reduction improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
