About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior AI & Automation Integration Analyst to support the deployment and integration of Artificial Intelligence and automation solutions across our organisation. Reporting to the Group’s management team, this role sits at the intersection of technology and business operations, helping bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and day-to-day processes. The ideal candidate is curious, technically minded, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment..
Key Responsibilities
- AI Integration Support — Assist in identifying, evaluating, and deploying AI-powered tools (e.g., generative AI, intelligent document processing, predictive analytics) into existing business workflows.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) — Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of RPA bots to automate repetitive, rule-based tasks; identify synergies between RPA workflows and AI capabilities (e.g., combining RPA with machine learning for intelligent automation).
- Process Analysis & Optimisation — Map existing business processes, identify automation opportunities, and propose AI/RPA solutions that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with IT, operations, quality, and management teams to gather requirements, coordinate deployments, and ensure AI/RPA solutions align with business objectives.
- Testing & Documentation — Develop test plans for AI and RPA implementations, document integration processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Monitoring & Continuous Improvement — Monitor the performance of deployed AI and RPA solutions, track KPIs, and recommend adjustments for optimal functionality.
- Technology Watch — Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and RPA technologies, and proactively propose new tools or approaches to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AI & Machine Learning Fundamentals: Understanding of core AI/ML concepts (e.g., natural language processing, predictive models, generative AI, RAG architectures).
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Familiarity with at least one major RPA platform (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism); ability to design and configure basic automation workflows and understand the convergence of RPA with AI for intelligent automation.
- Programming & Scripting: Basic proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation, API integration, and automation tasks.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and process analysis skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and to document processes effectively.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Exposure to API development and integration (REST APIs, connectors).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, cloud service (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of ISO management systems (9001/14001/45001) or quality/compliance frameworks.
- Interest in industrial applications of AI (e.g., diagnostics, digital twins, predictive maintenance).
- RPA certification (e.g., UiPath Associate, Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer) is an asset.
- Basic familiarity with how business systems (e.g., ERP, service platforms) exchange data; ability to read API documentation and use no?code/low?code integration tools (e.g., Power Automate). Collaboration with Process Analysts: Ability to work alongside a dedicated process analyst: you focus on the “how to automate/implement AI technically”, while leveraging their process maps and business requirements.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Why the RPA + AI Combination Matters
RPA and AI are increasingly converging into what the industry calls Intelligent Automation (IA). While RPA excels at automating structured, rule-based tasks, AI adds the capability to handle unstructured data, make decisions, and learn over time. A candidate who understands both can help the organisation:
- Automate end-to-end processes rather than just individual tasks.
- Layer AI on top of existing RPA bots (e.g., adding document understanding or sentiment analysis).
- Maximise ROI on automation investments by identifying the right tool for each use case.
- Future-proof the automation strategy as both technologies continue to mature.
