Role Overview:
You’ll lead efforts to expand new EMEA business in corporate banking and fintech partnerships driving growth through strategic alliances and client acquisition.
Core Duties:
- Identify and secure new target segments (e.g., corporates, institutional investors, fintechs)
- Lead negotiations for large-scale agreements partnerships
- Conduct financial analyses to assess feasibility and ROI of new business lines
- Oversee Business Development processes, from market analysis and proposal preparation to closing
- Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of business development and business development analysts
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations within all business development initiatives
- Represent the organization at trade shows, investor roadshows, and corporate events
- Manage contract negotiations, commercial offers, and high-stakes deals
- Analyze financials to optimize operations and reduce costs
Your Experience Should Include:
- Extensive network in the financial sector (through Linkedin, Xing, ...), with successful business development or Chief Human Ressource Officer records in preferably Middle-East and GCC (UEA, Saudi Arabia,...) area as the initial company strategy is to expand its business operations in these countries.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and metrics
- Team leadership: coaching, mentoring, recruiting/staffing experience
- An exposure to AI-based software and main concepts
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of leadership in business development or Human Resource, sales, or strategic partnership roles within banking sector (preferably in B2B or relevant industry)
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills
- Experience working across departments to execute cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management
- Bilingual English/Arabic
Qualifications:
- Msc degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA also considered) from preferably a Swiss well regarded/top ranked University or higher Education Institution
- Advanced degree or certifications in business development or financial services a plus
