Operational Risk Manager

By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet wealth management, asset management and real estate clients.

We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to support the Funds and Private Assets Services unit within Transactions Services. This unit belongs to the Operations division, which provides a broad range of custodian and fund administration services. Based in Geneva, you will be joining a dynamic team that plays a central role in supporting the extensive services on Funds and the strategic growth of our Private Assets offering.

Your role

-    Act as a Risk Ambassador within the unit by assessing, monitoring and reporting risks in the unit and transversally, in collaboration with managers and experts.
-    Ensure an adequate Risk Control Framework of the unit by:

o   Monitoring incidents and root cause analysis.
o   Following up audit recommendations and action plans.
o   Reviewing on a regular basis the unit business contingency plan, Risk Self-Assessment matrix, operational procedures, outsourcing agreements
o   Developing KRIs.
o   Training the staff and sharing best practices.
o   Supervising changes and related risks.

-    Support the activities of the unit by performing controls or other related tasks
-    Contribute to enhance the risk management approach leveraging data and AI 
-    Act as a project manager or project contributor on specific cases

Your profile

-    University degree (Bachelor’s or Master's) in Business and/or Economics, or the equivalent in work experience in the finance industry.
-    Experience or strong interest in Operational Risk management and in Funds & Private Assets Operations.
-    Strong analytical skills.
-    Collaborative approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
-    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and management.
-    Interest in automation, new technologies, process mapping are valued assets.
-    Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
