Associate Director EHS Bern

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing environmental, health, and safety related compliance programs and/or projects

• Ensures compliance with federal, provincial and municipal regulations and corporate policy and guidelines

• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company standards

• Provides training and education to employees on EHS matters and promotes a culture of safety within the organization

• Undertakes most difficult projects, assessments and solutions

• Leading, developing and managing EHS Team als Teamleader
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• 8+ years' relevant experience including experience at a manufacturing site

• Thorough knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

• Large pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing experience
