You will act as an operational anchor for the team: owning sample and product logistics while also taking direct ownership of data structuring and preparation work for downstream analysis.
This is a hands-on, dual-track position: approximately 40-50% physical and operational coordination, and 50-60% data-focused work.
Key Responsibilities
Sample & Product Coordination
* Collect, receive, and organize product samples from markets globally
* Coordinate sample delivery to laboratories and track analysis timelines
* Maintain physical and digital sample storage systems - organized, traceable, and up to date
Data Organization & Data Analytics
* Normalize, clean, and structure CI datasets from multiple source types (spreadsheets, PDFs, web extracts, lab outputs)
* Convert unstructured or semi-structured data into machine-readable formats (CSV, JSON, JSONL)
* Apply consistent product taxonomies and attribute tagging to the data
* Support Power BI dashboard data preparation - ensure clean, correctly formatted inputs
* Document data transformation logic and maintain version-controlled data files
Required Skills
Must Have
Technical
* Proficiency in Excel
* Familiarity with at least one BI tool
* Working knowledge of structured data formats
* Basic data cleaning and normalization skills
* Comfort using Python or SQL at a basic, operational level (e.g., simple scripts or queries to streamline repetitive data-handling tasks)
Operational & Soft Skills
* Great organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Clear and proactive communication with labs, market teams, and other stakeholders
* Fast thinker
Nice to Have
* Exposure to data annotation, labeling, or taxonomy management, especially for product attributes, product databases, or structured sensory/analytical data
* Experience preparing data in JSON, JSONL, CSV or other structured formats commonly used for ML or internal automation workflows
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
* Understanding of competitive intelligence workflows, ideally within FMCG
* Basic scripting experience (Python preferred) for recurring data-cleaning tasks, file parsing, or simple automations
* Formal education or coursework in Business Analytics, Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar fields
You are a great fit if...
* You have a data or analytics background and don't mind getting hands-on with physical coordination
* You are naturally organized and get satisfaction from bringing structure to messy information
* You are proactive, curious, and solution-oriented - always looking for ways to improve processes, simplify recurring tasks, and ensure higher data accuracy
* Can switch between a spreadsheet and a shipping timeline without losing focus
* Communicate clearly and flag blockers early
Don't hesitate to apply.
