The heart of the role
- Run the editorial comms calendar: LinkedIn, social, newsletter
- Write content across formats (copy, social, short-form, founder and executive voice) working with internal and external partners
- Build creator, influencer and community relationships to find stories and earn attention
- Handle internal comms: all-hands, newsletter, culture content
- Translate brand strategy into a living narrative across all touchpoints
Strategic comms skills and advisory
- Advise the CEO and leadership on messaging and positioning
- Own the corporate narrative across website copy, investor materials and key external touchpoints
- Shape company announcements and product launches
- Set external comms governance: who speaks for the company, where, and in what voice
- Develop cDevelop crisis protocols and coordinate executive visibility (talks, podcasts, bylines)
- Manage comms budget and external vendors
Profile and background
- Startup or PR/creative-agency background, not a classic corporate comms career
- Have a maker mindset: can produce strong content themselves, not only brief it out
- active on TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and be aware which communications trends are happening
- Strong brand and editorial instinct, comfortable holding and extending a brand voice
- Fluent with AI tools for the commodity parts of the job so you have enough time to be creative
- Works naturally with designers and creative partners
- German and English, ideally with some feel for the Swiss media and creator landscape
