- Design, implement and continuously improve Accelleron's global customs operating model, including governance, process ownership and organizational responsibilities across the organization.
- Lead the development of global customs frameworks and controls covering customs valuation, origin & preference, classification, customs procedures and broker governance.
- Develop, implement and maintain a risk-based customs maturity roadmap and translate strategic objectives into executable improvement initiatives.
- Own and maintain Accelleron's global customs governance framework, ensuring that customs processes, controls and capabilities continue to evolve in line with business growth, regulatory requirements and strategic priorities.
- Define customs business requirements, master data governance and reporting requirements and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate integration into business and digitalization initiatives.
- Establish customs monitoring, analytics, KPI frameworks and assurance mechanisms to support sustainable customs governance and continuous improvement.
- Build customs capabilities across the organization through training, guidance, governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor on customs-related matters and support interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including customs authorities and external advisors.
- 10+ years of experience in customs and international trade within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience building, transforming or significantly improving a customs organization, governance framework or customs operating model.
- Strong expertise in customs valuation, including related-party transactions, transfer-pricing interaction, circumstances-of-sale analysis and customs audit readiness.
- Strong knowledge of origin & preference, customs classification, free trade agreements and customs procedures.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP GTS and ERP solutions in a customs and trade compliance environment; experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong project management, change management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to influence and drive change across a global organization without direct authority.
- University degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
