Do you want to dive in the fast-growing industry of drones and get a rewarding experience in a dynamic scale-up environment?
At Flyability, we believe that robots should be sent into hazardous places and dangerous environments instead of humans. To support our belief, we created Elios, the world’s first collision-tolerant flying robot that can safely enter, survey, and inspect confined spaces so that people don’t have to. With more than 150 employees and 1’500 customers, Flyability is the market leader in the UAS indoor inspection industry. Joining Flyability is not just taking on a new job; it is seizing the opportunity to improve the lives of millions of people and contribute to the future of robotics.

Head of Human Resources (100%)
Starting date: as soon as possible
Your role:
We are a global, fast-growing team of 150+ employees across 9 countries. We are seeking a pragmatically minded leader to head our global People function. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Leadership Committee, you will manage a small, agile and growing team of at the moment 2 specialists.
This role offers a unique balance: you will have a seat at the decision-making table to shape our overarching strategy, paired with the direct authority and responsibility to execute day-to-day operations. If you thrive on rolling up your sleeves, turning strategy into action, and making a tangible impact on company culture, this is the place for you.
What you will own:
- Design, plan, and drive the comprehensive global HR strategic roadmap; orchestrate global recruitment and employer branding strategies across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Act as a dedicated HR Business Partner, assisting colleagues with tension resolution, work-life balance, and professional development paths; coach Executive Committee members and Circle Leaders to optimize team dynamics and management practices.
- Design, implement, and evolve the global compensation system and written salary policies; maintain master salary data, and run complex monthly payroll operations and social insurance compliance.
- Manage compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing psychosocial risks, workplace wellness, and preventive health campaigns; maintain the ISO 9001 standard requirements across HR and EHS functions.
- Manage the offboarding and dismissal processes by gathering redundant perspectives, documenting every step to mitigate organizational risk, providing assistance programs for employees on the leaving path.
Your profile:
- 5+ years of experience in a startup or scale-up (100+ employees) environment as a leader of human resources
- Swiss Federal Diploma in Human Resources (Brevet Fédéral en Ressources Humaines) or equivalent higher education diploma in HR.
- Fluent in both English and French (C1/C2 level, written and spoken).
- You are a "doer" who thrives on getting things done—equally comfortable setting strategic vision as you are managing operational details.
- Exceptional active listener capable of navigating delicate situations, mediating friction, and building strong, trusting relationships.
- Strong communication and coaching skills to constructively challenge and advise C-level executives, Circle Leaders, and managers.
- Able to maintain clarity, accuracy, and structure in a fast-evolving, multi-cultural, multi-time-zone environment.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Swiss labor law, payroll operations, and social insurance systems (AVS, LPP, LAA, etc.).
